about

I love this album so much. I adore all the tracks and have made a few notes about them. It's one thing making this album - that was a crazy mission where my mind went mad for a while (Saturn I'm looking at your here : ) - it's a whole different beast listening back after some months of silence. It sounds incredible to my ears. What a sound journey you'll go on. Yay!

I experimented with lots of different modes whilst making this album and I love the musical energies found. There's a C# Phyrigian piece in there as well as an F# Dorian.

Saturn - dark, powerful, magical kingdom, stretched, ambient, blown out reverbs, smooth, thunderous beauty.

Uranus - attitude, confidence, sweeping melodies, emotive, lush, soaring reverb.

Neptune - joyful, sparky, music on a mission, soaring, shiny, full of light and richness, rumbles of bass, far reaching, drama, delicate, intense, moody.

Pluto - super dreamy, relaxed, swirling, hypnotic, serene, a heavy quality about it whilst also feeling high vibrational, plays with gravity, emotional to listen back, bass notes all encompassing

Bonus track - feminine, light, sparkly.

Each planet takes you through a range of tempos and moods. Each is a uniquely glorious movement.

Thanks to my dad - Jim Judge - for encouraging the cosmic magic within. When he'd say "There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on earth", it always blew my 8 year old mind.

Listen well. Shine on!

about

La Navigatrice Scotland, UK

A hedonistic Snow White seeking out ethereal melodies.

"A sound arose of endless interchanging melodies woven in harmony that passed beyond hearing into the depths and into the heights, and the places of the dwelling of Ilúvatar were filled to overflowing, and the music and the echo of the music went out into the Void, and it was not void."
